MANSFIELD — Roby-Foster-Miller-Earick Insurance has announced the acquisition of the BHE Agency of Galena, Ohio.
RFME CEO John C. Roby said he is very excited to bring Mark Blackburn and his team on board with their growing footprint.
“This is our fourth acquisition in the Franklin and Delaware County region, and we feel they align well with our culture and geographic region,” Roby said.
“We have been strategically looking for opportunities for a good fit with what we are working to grow. BHE compliments our recent affiliations with Benchmark Insurance of Westerville, Langhurst Insurance in Willard and Integrity Benefits in Mansfield.”
Blackburn echoed Roby’s excitement for the partnership.
“John, Rick and their team have a really special thing going and we are very confident that this is the best choice to grow this business,” he said.
Blackburn has over 4 decades of experience in the insurance industry in Ohio and is the former COO of State Auto Insurance Company.
BHE has a focus serving the specific needs of families and facilities in the equine business.
RFME is a locally owned company that traces its roots back to 1872 domiciled in Richland County, Ohio.
RFME has 22 employees across three counties. The agency is licensed to do business in 26 states.
